Help Blánaid Get Nomac’s Sewing Machines Running Again

 

Hi everyone, Blánaid MacCann here from Nomac.

 

For 40 years, producing and supplying costumes to the arts all over the country has been our passion.

 

The Devastating Fire

On May 9th, our world changed in an instant. The devastating fire at the old Jute Factory in Tycor completely destroyed everything in our warehouse.

 

In just a few hours, over 50,000 costumes—many of them handmade, irreplaceable pieces—were gone. Our entire sewing room, machines, computers, fabrics, patterns, resource library and all warehouse contents were completely destroyed.

 

Starting From Zero

We want to rebuild. Thank you to everybody for their donates of costumes so far, we are so grateful.

 

Now, we want to get the show on the road.
